      Address and route

      MORE Ruurlo is located in the magnificent setting of Ruurlo Castle. The museum is dedicated to the life and work of the master painter Carel Willink. In addition, visitors can explore a range of temporary exhibitions.

      Getting here by car

      Museum MORE Ruurlo is located in Kasteel Ruurlo and is easily accessible by car.

      From the direction of Arnhem (A12/A18/N319)
      Take the A12 towards Arnhem and continue onto the A18 towards Doetinchem. Then follow the N319 towards Ruurlo. Once in Ruurlo, follow the signs for Kasteel Ruurlo/MORE Ruurlo.

      From the direction of Enschede (N18/N319)
      Follow the N18 towards Groenlo and take the exit for Ruurlo. Continue via the N319 towards the centre of Ruurlo and follow the signs for Kasteel Ruurlo/MORE Ruurlo.

      From the direction of Apeldoorn (N345/N348/N319)
      Drive via Zutphen towards Vorden and continue along the N319 to Ruurlo. Once in Ruurlo, follow the signs for Kasteel Ruurlo/MORE Ruurlo.

      Parking

      There is ample free parking available in the immediate vicinity of Kasteel Ruurlo. Enter “Parkeerplaats Kasteel Ruurlo” in your navigation system or use the address Stapeldijk 1, Ruurlo. From the car park, the museum is just a few minutes’ walk away.

      Alternative parking area during busy periods

      If the car park is full due to high visitor numbers, we recommend parking at Houtwal in Ruurlo. Follow the white P2 sign:

      • Drive from Stapeldijk 1 towards Ruurlo.
      • Take the first exit at the roundabout.
      • Turn right before the railway crossing onto Houtwal.

      You can also park for free at this car park, located behind Ruurlo railway station. From Houtwal, it is approximately a five-minute walk to the castle.

      Public transport

      By train

      Travel to Ruurlo station with Arriva trains. From the station, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to MORE Ruurlo. The walking route via Stationsstraat and Vordenseweg is clearly signposted.
