      La Lonja te Palma de Mallorca

      Het zonovergoten Mallorca was destijds een geliefde bestemming onder kunstenaars. Schuhmacher maakte er tenminste acht schilderijen. Hier zien we het in gotische stijl uitgevoerde beursgebouw La Lonja in de hoofdstad Palma, met de haven in de rug. Schuhmacher gaf het gewoonlijk zinderende plein voor het gebouw uiterst verstild en sereen weer.
